Show Macros Folder broken in Lion
? Recently installed Lion to a test drive, and using Nisus Pro 2 there, Show Macros Folder in Finder does not work. Well, maybe. With Lion, I can find the Macros folder in Finder in "Mission Control," but clicking there just sends me back to Nisus with no access to the folder or files. Is ...

Re: keyboard selection from Prompt Options dialog
re: full keyboard access on/off That seems to be it. Mine was set to input and text areas only, so no amount of tabbing helped, but changing the setting to all controls (or whatever it is labelled in English) let me tab around btw the radio buttons and the stop macro and OK buttons. I have not teste...

Re: keyboard selection from Prompt Options dialog
Thanks for checking the behavior. Here is the macro as used. I hope posting it btw the code tags is the way to do it. #Select Glossary #Enables selecting the glossary to edit from a dialog box. #The glossary is used only once and the automatically selected glossary #reverts to the job glossary deriv...

keyboard selection from Prompt Options dialog
I use Prompt Options to display a dialog box with a number of variable choices, selected by radio buttons. The macro and the dialog box work fine. The problem is that sometimes -- and very rarely --I can use the up/down cursor arrows to cycle through and select the desired radio button. Being able t...

thesaurus 1.1
I saw on Macintouch that thesaurus 1.1 is available in the App store for free. I came to nisus.com (partly to give nisus the 30% cut ) to download it, but only 1.07 is available there.
Is this only available from the Apple App Store?

(more) Lost in Space
I wrote previously about Nisus getting lost between Spaces sometimes after waking up. That usually happens (when it happens) in connection with opening a file from the Finder. The computer slept again last night, but Nisus was well behaved, until... The preferences dialog was opened with two files o...

Nisus unresponsive from Dock
Sometimes after putting the computer to sleep and then waking it up again, Nisus is completely unresponsive when selected from the Dock or by cmd-tabbing. Nisus _seems_ to come to the front because the Nisus menu bar appears across the top, but typing cmd-Open (or selecting Open) simply gets a burp ...

Re: macro menu updating, and F1 key
Would have sworn I'd tried selecting a different menu in that pane, but it works as advertised now.
Thanks.
Thanks.

macro menu updating, and F1 key
Needed a quick little macro, so selected New Macro, wrote, and saved it. It appears at the bottom of the Macro menu and works. Great. Want to assign a key combination to it, so open preferences and get to where you select the menu item. Problem: the new macro shown at the bottom of the Macro menu do...

attributes OFF in find/replace
If you expand a glossary abbreviation in the find/replace dialog, Nisus ohhh-so-kindly automatically checks the Attribute Sensitive box -- EVEN IF Remove styles and attributes has been applied to the entire glossary file (all entries) so that there are no attributes to be sensitive about. This is re...

Re: Save as PDF
Ah. I see.
The manual certainly is much easier to navigate now. Glad I don't have to create PDFs.

Re: Save as PDF
Caveat the caveat... If you format as described by Hamid and then Print... and Save as PDF from there, Nisus prints a PDF with the page numbers as desired. Never needed this in Nisus before, so I followed the directions and created a page 1 with Hidden Footer. Page 2 followed a section break with fo...

OSX10.6 and Nisus crashes
Nisus rarely crashed under 10.5, but since recently upgrading from 10.5 to 10.6 Nisus seems to crash every couple of days. I would click the Report button as Martin (?) has suggested to send a report to Nisus, but the dlg box says the report goes to Apple. After recent reports of Apple collecting lo...

Re: enabling glossaries
