Thanks for this. I think if there is no clean way to do it without the arcade flashing, I may as well turn to Keyboard Maestro.
Many thanks, Ted

Request: Everything a style!
I'm using NWP extensively and have a gripe. My documents have a specific vocabulary I've developed over the decades. I should be able to employ this set of styles simply by using styles, but NWP asks me to do too many things. I should have a bullet style that both sets the bullet list and applies a ...

Command for Text Editing Areas Always Use Light Mode
I would like a macro that toggles the "Text Editing Areas Always Use Light Mode" preference checkbox. I run a global dark mode and want to switch back and forth in the page view.

Making Image Float
This is such a stupid question, but I do need help. I paste images into a document, but often they are large enough that I am left with large blank sections at the bottom of the previous page. How do I make these images stay anchored near where I placed it and still allow text to flow in front of it...

'Last Save' doesn't update
I have documents with a 'document last saved' item entered. It does not update when I change and save the document. It is in the header.

Style definition with macro
Feature request: I would like the ability to define a macro to execute whenever a style is applied. My use case is for headers to apply a title case macro, but I can think of others I may want. I know I can do this now by writing a macro that applies a style and performs the macro, but that doesn't ...

List Styles
I use NWp extensively. So far, the only thing that bothers me is the lack of a paragraph style definition for lists. The issue in my case is space after paragraphs, which I use instead of first line indents. I'd like list elements to not inherit the 'space after'.

Header Style Shortcuts
I am trying to take advantage of the serial shortcut key function.
Curious about how people use the command H 1 shortcut. Do you disable the system's command H to hide shortcut?

Philip,
Searched the forum and see how helpful you have been. Thank you on behalf of all of us.
But that did not fly. Terminate at the end of first line.

Resize Window (newbie)
Would like to relocate and resize the frontmost document window. Tried the following and a few variations.
Is there a repository of example macros?
$doc.windowOrigin = 780;50
$doc.windowSize = 817;2111
Thanks in advance, Ted

Re: Book on Nisus Writer Pro
I entered this topic some time ago. I now realize that it was motivated by a need to understand my Mac environment as an extension of myself. As much to anchor who I am and what I make as anything else. Guy Kawasaki wrote "The Mac Way" which set a public view of Apple and was one of the an...

Re: Changing Language
Selecting text and applying the language worked for my 'after the fact' language assignment and making a style sheet for future docs looks promising. The requirement for using Australian spelling is purely political. I'll be an American working with collaborators, so may as well give the courtesy of...
