This can also be done directly in Nisus, thus allowing us to bypass the Font Book. Just press Command + T, or Format > Font > Show Fonts

Re: FR: Have font search string look for matches in entire font name, not merely from the beginning

I want a mono-spaced font, but I can never remember the names of the ones I have, except that they have “mono” in the names. Have you considered a new customized font collection? You can create your own font-collections and have them appear in the Font menu. This can be done in two ways, either in ...

Re: Abbreviations by Typeit4Me

Why doesn’t Nisus accept the abbreviations by Typeit4Me I don't know the exact reason, but because of this incompatibility I switched to Typinator which works flawlessly with Nisus. However, TypeIt4Me works on my old MacBook Pro 2010 if I press the fn key each time after the trigger. I don't know w...

that command (actually a property, but who's keeping track) I'm all for using the right terminology, so thanks for reminding me, and thanks for the examples. I think one difference to Kino's macro is that his macro enables one to find and select any Highlighted and any Background color as well as c...

Re: Select All in Highlight

[Is it] possible to create a macro that selects All in Highlight. I think Kino's macro "SelectByColor" does exactly that. The ugly bit is that it prompts the user with color objects which are hard to read. I think Kino has a nice solution to this problem. He offers the option "Show S...

Re: Search/find any Hebrew characters

Another easy way is to use AnyHebrew from the Scripts/Blocks menu.
You can also use "\p{Hebrew}" (without quotation marks) if you are comfortable with PowerFind Pro.

Re: Error message using Nisus on a Synology NAS

Hello David, Before I read your post I knew nothing about Synology NAS, so I'm very grateful for you taking the time to share your experience with us. I'd asked the tech company […] for a system that would allow me to synchronise my two computers (a desktop and a portable) without having recourse to...

Re: repeating characters vs. display of character accents

Does the problem persist? Then try the Terminal command described in the links below. Creating a pristine new user account is also always a good idea to find out whether something has got corrupted in your current user account. If the problem goes away, you can migrate to the new account and delete ...

Re: repeating characters vs. display of character accents

Bare as a baby's behind concerning this phenomenon. I would first try TinkerTool . What is TinkerTool? "TinkerTool is an application to access selected preference settings of your personal user account which are not visible in System Preferences. The tool never changes any part of the operatin...

Re: EDITING IN SPIT VIEW

Hello Paieye, Maybe there is some misunderstanding going on here. Nisus has a feature called "Split View", and this is used to get two (or more) views of the same document. But the macOS has also an inbuilt separate feature called Split View mode . This feature is sometimes referred to as ...

Re: Request: Everything a style!

NWP asks me to do too many things.
Instead of asking for styles that expand automatically into a set of instructions to perform a particular task, why don't you just use macros instead? Isn't that what macros are for?
