Re: Font Color question
Martin, Thank you very much for your reply. Let me see if I understand you correctly: Upon saving (or closing and reopening) the document, NWP converts the CMYK settings to RGB settings. I've tried this with an example: When I set the font color using the CMYK silders to: C=100 M=0 Y=0 K=0 the color...

Font Color question
I've been trying to set the font color of a document to "pure" cyan, i.e.: C=100 M=0 Y=0 K=0 First, I've tried it using the "color" palette: select all (Cmd-A), set the font color to "Cyan". The result was: C=41 M=0 Y=13 K=0 Then I used the CMYK silders setting the font...

What happened to "outline"?
I've been wondering... ...there used to be an feature "outline" in NWP 1.2 and, I think, even in 1.3 which I could reach not via the "Format" menu but by crtl-clicking in or on the character I wanted to be "outlined". (See pict. attached.) Although the "outline&quo...

Re: No soft hyphen???
I made a point of mentioning X.6.1. This OS has some type problems -- so it may not work with .1 but it might work with X.6.2. Geoff, having upgraded to 10.6.2 his morning, I can say that the "soft hyphen" macro I've found in the "Nisus Writer Pro Macro" forum yesterday (Fri Jan...

Re: No soft hyphen???
I'm getting the break but no hyphen appearing. OS X.6.1 Cheers, Geoff Geoff, Now wait... ...does that mean that the macro $character = Text.newWithCodepoint(0x00AD) Type Text $character doesn't work with OS 10.6.x anymore? This would really make me worry since I'm planning to upgrade to OS 10.6.x so...

Re: No soft hyphen???
Joachim,
er , that's what I forgot to mention: The macro works only with OS 10.5.x and higher but with 10.5.x it's really a soft hyphen as you want it.
Sorry.

... and there it was again! Moments after submitting the last post I tried it again and got another crash, only this time without the selected text disappearing.
Now I really get superstitious

Re: Problem when selecting text
Martin - I haven't forgotten to send the document in which the "crash when selecting text" problem occured first, as I promised. I just wasn't able to reproduce it since I wrote my first post on this topic. It's kind of superstition-inducing! But since the document itself won't tell you en...

Re: German hyphenation
There is a macro by Martin which I use to correct faulty hyphenation in German: $character = Text.newWithCodepoint(0x00AD) Type Text $character Just install it as described in the "Nisus Pro Macro" section: http://nisus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2097 I've attached a key command to...

Re: Problem when selecting text
Thanks, Martin! Give me a day or two and I'll send the document in which the problem occured first. I will also try to reproduce the problem in order to send you an appropriate feedback. By the way: When it occured first, I tried force quit repeatedly but the application wouldn't comply. Ever since,...

Re: Problem when selecting text
Thanks, feat, for the reply! It tells me that this seems to be not a problem of my files only. I should add that "imported" doesn't describe the process exactly. Actually, I had the whole text (chapter of a novel) copied from the NW Classic file and then pasted without format ("Paste ...

Problem when selecting text
I keep getting a problem when I try to select text passages in a document: There are two main methods to select text passages other than a single word (double click), a sentence (triple click), or a paragraph (quadruple click): (1), click at the beginning of the text passage to be selected, then &qu...
