Re: All of the sudden, Nisus won't open

Delete both NWP and then reinstall NWP again and make sure you only got one installed on your computer.

Re: Trouble with Cmd + Y from NWP to Bookends

It may be the same problem or bug (OS bug) as mentioned in this thread at the Bookends forum.

Re: Snow Leopard Text Services

Another solution is to use SpellCatcher since you then can take advantage of the typo corrections and glossary expansions feature of SpellCatcher in nearly all applications and not only applications that are working with the new Snow Leopard Text Services. SpellCatcher works with both NWP, NWE, Page...

Then it shouldn’t be to hard to revive or implement this feature in the current or next version of NWP?

Re: Please help me decide

I have Mellel and NWP. I never use Mellel. Personal choice. I write in Scrivener and then do my polishing in NWP. It works great that way. I just started using Sente as my reference manager and all of the big ones can work with NWP because they just scan the document and create another document wit...

Re: Bibliographic software... ANY software. Suggestions?

I haven’t used Nisus Writer Express for a long time (I’m currently using Mellel as my primary writing tool) but I have been using Bookend both with NWE and Mellel and I’m very satisfied with the Bookend application. Bookend is easy to use and is still a very powerful tool. The support is outstanding...

Re: Goodbye Nisus

Actually, Word for Mac 2008 is a pretty decent program and does the job does just fine. I downloaded the Office 2008 some months ago just to be able to test it. It work pretty good, but I decided to stay with my primary writing tool - Mellel - and I am as happy as I can be ever since. :D I think th...

Re: Goodbye Nisus

You can't imagine how many lockups/crashes I had with NWP to the point I had autosave set on every 2 minutes which if absurd of course. Even if the problem is a "haxie" of some sort, NWP is the only program of some 100 or more that seemed to be impacted. As I said, I would have liked to say but for...

Re: OmniOutliner to Nisus, with styles

Have you tried to save the OmniOutliner file as a RTFD file or some other file format that Nisus can read and import?

That’s a drawback. It had been better if it was the other way around.

Re: Nisus Writer 1.2 release

The new odt importer/exporter feature seems to be working great as far as I can tell. I might upgrade my old license (NWE 2.7) to a new NWP 1.2 license, but I haven't decided yet.

Re: nwp 1.03 quits after pasting arabic

hi. I just bought the NWPro 1.0.3 to mainly use in Arabic. I was disappointed to see that it quits, or becomes nonrespondent (I have to force quit it) after I paste text in Arabic from another NWPro file or internet for example. I have been using NW Classic all this time. I am using MacOS 10.4.10 i...
