Re: how to print document that shows track changes and comme
When I use this option, the resulting PDF shows up with little yellow boxes. It is possible to click each one in turn to disclose the comment in question. But it is not possible to show all the comments at the same time. I need to actually print onto paper a document with all comments showing in the...

Line numbers on the right; paragraph numbers on the left
Hello, all I've been asked to prepare a textbook manuscript with line numbers on the right and paragraph numbers on the left. The examples I've seen always seem to have line numbers on the left, and it seems that once you choose paragraph numbers the options for line numbers disappear. Am I misreadi...

Re: Nisus Pro 2
I downloaded 2 today and tried it out for a while. I don't have any earth shattering discoveries to share, but I was working with my Table of Contents on the left, then Comments, then the text I was writing, then Tracked Changes, and I must say I really liked the look of the thing. It didn't feel di...

Re: Pagination at top right corner
Not a stupid question at all. Fortunately, the answer is pretty easy. Click in the header and choose Insert > Automatic Number > Page Number in the usual way. Then double-click on the page number and make sure that the Tools palette is visible on the right. Click on the large T for the formatting pa...

Re: multiple streams of footnotes
Wow, that looks amazing. The email-us-if-you-want-to-know-the-price model is a bit alarming, though. The only application I know which does exactly what you want (and much, much more), is Classical Text Editor, "for Windows and Macintosh with emulated Windows".

Re: Feature request: split screen/window
Xiamenese's comment on Scrivener was interesting. A few years ago, I think all of the word-processor forums had users asking for features that would embody the recognition that writing something was a process that involved more than formatting already completed text. Over time, I think most of us ha...

Re: Nisus vs Pages
What about academic documents that contain a lot of graphics? Would you veer towards Pages or Nisus?

First, see my post ( http://www.nisus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2495 ) on using Endnote and NWP. As you can see from that post, NWP's customizability of keystrokes (and allowing multiple keystrokes) comes in really handy, not to mention its macro support. Secondly, and this is where it shines over ...

6. Bookends or Endnote support. Although, to be fair, Endnote is quite compatible already. Just no Cite While You Write stuff. I would like to see the same (or better) level of compatibility with Bookends. I think that's it. NWP is SOOOO close to being everything I ever wanted in a WP. I, and no do...
