Re: Split windows
I completely concur. Why was such a valuable feature dropped in the first place?

Re: large document limitations?
Yes, I consistently have very slow response with large documents. The answer I get from Nisus is to send them my document. Since these are not releasable I can not send the file. Since this problem has been reported many many times, it time to stop asking for the sample document and fix the problem....

Yes, I also need this feature. It is very common in published literature.

Section symbol problem
I am using the Section symbol § (option 6). When I reopen the document all of the section symbols are replaced by some generic graphic which prints as such.
How do I keep the section symbol from changing?
Thank you

LaTex Conversion
This is more of a request. While Nisus Pro is by far my favorite word processor, I am in the process of writing several papers for publication. Many journals now require documents to be in LaTex format. Thus, without knowing the magnitude of the task, is it possible that future release will enable s...

Fixed line spacing is hiding in-line equations.
This problem is that I have many inline equations. In using the fixed line spacing so that the line spacing is uniform for in-line equations that exceed the baselines. Even after setting the equations from MathEq to transparent the in-line equations are still cut off above the baselines. That is the...

Speed up file loading
My documents are technical and often have MB of graphics and equations. The loading time can be min. per document. I may be working of 5 such documents which require 10 min to fully load.
How can I speed this up? It is the most annoying aspect of Nisus Pro.
Thank you

MathEq (old Expressionist) has a great tweeking ability. The square root sign can be adjusted to standard form. I have not had problems with fonts being installed on removed. So far I don't think that it is a worry. For you settings go to: Preferences->Copy Prefs->Choose Application->Nisus Then: Pre...

On the www.livemath.com website you will find the pre-release versions (under weekly builds on the top page) of MathEq, which is 4.08 [U08] which at my urgings have addressed some of the problems with baseline recognition. You have to change some settings. So far it has not harmed my fonts.

Typesetting Text...
I am having a problem in opening a large file that gets stuck on the Typesetting Test... . The progress bar reaches 90%+ then stays.
The document is over 100 pages and has multiple formats due to its function as a storage of many calculations, equations, and illustrations.
