Is there any way to make cross referenced text appear as italics automatically? For example I have Figure 1 bookmarked, and I would like the reference "see Figure 1 " with Figure 1 being italics. I can manually do that, but I wondered if there was a way of making it so that cross reference...

Is there any way to insert captions for images/tables that will include the number of the figure, etc ?
No, writing them manually isn't feasible, as the order of figures can change when I'm writing the document. The figure numbers need to be automatically updated.

I'm trying to get smart punctuation and automatic superscripting of ordinals in the British English, and it's not happening. Those options are grayed out.
