I'm very excited about NW Pro, will buy. The logo... well... not so much. But I gotta tell you Hasselhoff and the banana, my god I'll never touch the fruit again. It's given me the creeps. Kinda like Dubya, gannon and army boots... OK don't... never mine, maybe it was a riding crop. What ever it was...

Pages 2 has something NWE needs
Mail merge with address book. Now I have pages 1 and I never use it (I bought iWork for Keynote). I tried pages, but damn, dog slow it was like i was back in a "mac os x.0" time warp. remember that kids? Never the less when I need to do a mailing it's back to MS office and it's bug ridden ...

Cocoa isn't sufficient for ease of translation. Xcode code = relatively simple, Metroworks code = real work. At least thats what I've read. We will need to see what Nisus says about what they use and what they say they need to do. If it's cocoa it has to be done with Apple's Developer Tools. So it ...

I really like things the way they are, since the current icons for the palette groups don't necessarily represent what I want to use them for. Perhaps a preference for icon-based palette groups or menu-based ones? That does sound like a lot of messing about from a programming angle. What you sugges...

I like the button at the top of the tool drawer.
I opened up the beta to reformat some odd text that I couldn't fix in MS Word and I was very impressed with the refinements to the UI, especially the buttons, very intuitive. I just hope after the final of 2.5 is out I can do more work with my current project in NW. Currently I'm working on a modera...

depends on the files
I was a long time user of WP 3.5.x for the mac too. In a lot of my complex docs with multiple tables, conversion was spotty at best. Simple docs it seems to open more or less fine. This is the problem you'll run into translating anything either into word nisus or whatever else. If you're running a G...

Nisus Store - I wanna give you guys money
I tried today to purchase a family pack for NWX I tried it on a number of different browsers omniweb 5, safari and explorer 6 in VPC 7, but I keep getting the response that my address didn't match the address on file. There's plenty of money in the account and the address has worked before because I...

have you done a repair permission?
Have you run Repair permission from Disk Utility in /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility? I think technically you're suppose to run it from the Mac OS X CD, but I've run it from the hard drive with apparent success. If you haven't I would recommend doing so. Just a note if you run it from your hard ...

Slow Start
I had a similar problem I forget what version. I'm assuming that you had and earlier copy on your disk, is that correct? If so then what I did what I did was remove some of the files initially to the desktop and then if I didn't need them to the trash. ~/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer/ Dra...

Applying columns to selection
I was working with a document in which I wanted to format a section of the documents with 2 columns instead of one. There does not appear to be a way to apply columns to a section of the documents. Am I missing something or has this portion of the columns not yet been implemented?

carbonize NW 6.5
I would guess that if it's physically possible, that many of the staff at Nisus would agree with you, seeing Nisus starting talking about the rewrite in Oct of 2000 a month after the first public beta of os x was released. However, I don't know enough about the carbon api's to know if that was possi...

NW Ex crashes after period of time.
I apologize for the cross posting, but I posted this in the wrong forum. After about 15 or 20 minutes of working in NW Ex I get the spinning rainbow cursor and NW Ex becomes non responsive. I can still move the cursor and the system and other apps remain responsive. When I force quit sometimes NW Ex...
