This is the home for all officially supported Nisus Writer Pro macros. If you are looking to write macros, please see macro reference which can be accessed on the menu Help > Macro Language Reference. If you need help with an existing macro or want to discuss macros with other users please visit our Macro Forum.

Any macro files inside your Macros folder will appear on Nisus Writer's macro menu.
Here's one way to install a macro in the correct folder:

1. Download the zip archive containing the macro.
2. If the macro was not unarchived automatically, then double-click the archive to extract the macro.
3. Switch to Nisus Writer Pro.
4. Use the menu Macro > Add Macro to Menu from File....
5. In the Open file dialog choose the macro file (with the .nwm file extension) and click the Open button.
6. The macro should now be available inside Nisus Writer Pro on the Macro menu.

After you load a macro this way you do not need to keep the original archive or macro file.
Nisus Writer has copied the file into your Macros folder.
