Hi all.
I'm preparing a document for publication and have been asked by my editor to convert all my italics to underline. Is there a macro or a quick find and replace that will allow me to select all instances of italics and replace them with an underline?
Thanks in advance!
Convert All Italics to Underline
Re: Convert All Italics to Underline
Hi midwinter,
you won't need any macros for this. Simply place the cursor inside a word that is italicised, then click on the tiny black "a" button in the lower right corner of your document window. Choose "Select all" from the contextual menu, and Nisus Writer Pro will select all the occurrences of italicised words. You can now hit Cmd+i to remove the italics, and then hit Cmd+u to apply underlining. That's it.

OMFGWTFBBQ! That's amazing. I just did half a day's manual labor in 10 seconds.
