Hello!
The spelling correction used in Nisus Writer Pro (German) is mediocre at best. Is it possible to implement a languagetool integration in NWP?

Re: Languagetool integration?
Nisus Writer can use any spelling dictionary you have (or can install) on your Mac. Your system may already have better German spelling dictionaries. You may simply need to tell Nisus Writer to use them via our language preferences.
If you really need to install extra dictionaries, see our FAQ on spelling dictionaries.

Re: Languagetool integration?
The thing is: LanguageTool is much more than a spell checker. It looks for mistakes in concordance (singular-plural, masculine-feminine, verbal tenses…). And it gives stylistic suggestions: repeated words, better words for a specific context… I even pay for its Pro version.
Now, in MacOS, it is compatible with Safari (it is checking this very post right now), Notes, Mail, Pages, Drafts, Word, Telegram and Slack. And it is open source. And it is regularly updated. I am proud to say that the Catalan version is in optimal shape.
So yes, I believe that the integration would be a valuable addition to Nisus features.
