Multiple Headers

Post by foster13 »

Other than changing headers by section, is it possible to have more than one header per section and if so, how?

As always, thank you!

Nisus will do different odd and even page headers if the facing pages option is enabled. To use this check the facing pages option in the sections palette.

I apologize — I wasn't clear enough.

I meant two separate headers on the same page within a section (regardless of whether the page is odd or even). Can this be done? Thanks again!

No, this can't be done.

What would be the reason for wanting such a thing? How would multiple headers behave? Would they run over different spans of the document?
One thing that you can do is to use cross-references to have parts of different headers linked.
