In most word processors one can split the window in order to see two parts of the document simultaneously. This seems not to be possible in Nisus Writer Pro (and I recall Joe Kissell mentioning this in his review of NWP 2 in TidBITS)--or am I missing something? Is there any plan to introduce this feature? Or is there a workaround?

There is no way to do this currently, it's one of the most often requested features still not implemented and the Nisus folk are well aware of how many users are waiting impatiently for it (i.e. more than even those who wanted vertical rulers!) If you do a search in these forums you'll find several discussion threads on the issue going back several years.

The only workaround I'm aware of is the macro shown here.
