Can a language / spellcheck preference be given to a style?

Post by telemachos »

I want to turn off spell checking for my footnotes but not for body text. And I want to assign a language to certain styles and not to others.

Can this be done in NWP? If not, consider this a feature request!

You can apply a language to a a style. For example, I have set my Hebrew language preference to use "HSpell" as a spellcheck preference; and I have a language called "transliterated" which has spelling and thesaurus disabled.

You define the spellcheck preferences of a language in the languages sub-menu of the preferences menu.

Not sure I made myself clear. Can a style have a language attribute? I don't see anything having to do with styles in the language tab of the Preferences window.

You turn on/off spell checking for any given language in the preferences language menu. You apply a language to a style by opening up the style and selecting a language.
