If you right click on Mac's Mail program you can do several things without having to open up the program.
You can check for new mail. If it finds any (with or without doing a force check, it will display the number of unread e-mails on the icon in the dock.
You can compose a new e-mail without having to go to the program.
Now Mail has to be up and running for this to happen and when you have Nisus up and running you can create a new document or bring up the document manager.
But what about opening up the last document or how about one of the last 10? Why can't this be added to the icon on the dock?
I would love it.
It would even be cooler if there was some way you do this (open a recently previously opened document) using the Dock Nisus icon while starting the program at the same time.
I don't know if the latter is possible. But I know the former is. I --would-- use it a --lot--!
