Paper size reverts to US Letter

Post by GeoffRoynon »

I am having problems with the 'Nisus New File.dot' template file where it reverts to US Letter from A4.
I have a 'master' document called 'New Template.rtf' which is setup the way I want a new document formatted, paper size = A4, language = British Engish, margins setup, and all my styles setup. I copy this document to User/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer and change its name to 'Nisus New File.dot' (when NWE isn't running).
However, when I select New from the File menu to create a new document, the paper size is 'US Letter' and not 'A4'.
Why is NWE insisting on changing the paper size?
I have checked all the relevant country options and everything is set to British English.

I found what the problem was - the Default Paper Size in the Print & Fax preferences was set to US Letter. I've never bothered to look in this preference before so will have to remember to check this if I have any other printer glitches.

Hey, thanks for pointing that out. That's useful.
