delete

Post by gemboy27 »

I have a document that is

1) 65 pages long -- each from 2-65 because of a page insert
2) on page 65 there was some text I wanted to delete; i highlighted it, including page insert, and hit delete (right); nothing; then i hit delete (left) and it deleted all the text

this has happened twice, but not a third

Charles,

Sorry, I knew that would be confusing.

delete left = the delete key on the keyboard that deletes text in the left direction

delete right = is the delete key on the little keyboard between the main keyboard and the numeric keypad that deletes text to the right

hope that stirs up the mud to grey ;-)

take care
George

the problem hasn't happened again, one of the problems with any beta testing (I would guess) is all the random connection that may or may not be connected. Like when the glitch happen did I have explore and foxfire and proteus and itunes all running, but not eudora...

one new fix that seems to only be in 2.5 is when you use the spell check (language) and you click on a word change in the tool bar, you end up with the cursor in the document so you can continue working and not click BACK into the document ---- thank you.
