Adding Aliases of Recent Open Files to Document Manager

Post by foster13 »

Hi:

Is there a way to add aliases of recent open files to Document Manager and ideally open them from there and if so, how? The purpose is to avoid having a multitude of open documents at the same time (when I've been working on many in dribs and drabs).

I've reviewed several posts (and tried several options), but remain confused as to how to use Document Manager to custom handle recent files (as opposed to Autosave Temp Files).

Thank you!

There are already two default groups in Document Manager displaying recently opened and recently saved files managed by Document Manager:

You can also set up groups of your own to extend or limit the time frame. To do this, while in Document Manager, press Command-F. Then set the time frame and save the search group by pressing the 'Save Search As Group...' button:
