The settings for the toolbar are in the preference file:
Users/your home folder/Library/Preferences/com.nisus.NisusWriter.plist

If you have custom icons in the toolbar, you need to transfer them. The icons are here:
Users/your home folder/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer Pro/Icons

You need to copy the custom icons to the corresponding folder on your Macbook so that you can drag all your favorite items into the toolbar.

WARNING:
Deleting or removing the preference file will also delete the file "Nisus New File.dot". Before you start experimenting with this, make sure you have a copy of both files. Also be aware that quitting Nisus and then deleting or removing the preference file will NOT show any effect until you RESTART the machine. I did this today, and at first I was surprised that nothing "happened". It was not until I restarted the machine that my old toolbar went away; and the Nisus New File had also been replaced with a fresh new one. This was OK because I had a backup.
