Keep footnotes together

Post by Jester »

Is there a way to do this? I really don't like having a 1-line footnote on one page, and then 3 one on the next one.

Cheers,

I thought the point of footnotes was to have them on the same page as the reference, something usually done for the convenience of the reader.
The alternative is to have end- or section notes something usually done for the convenience of the printer, but usually quite annoying for readers.
So you're aiming for a third model, one where notes are randomly distributed throughout the text, so as to annoy everybody :P

Hahahah すごい, made me laugh! :p

Sometimes I'd get a footnote staring on a page, but continuing on another :( , is there a way to have the full footnote on one page?

Open style view, choose “Footnote”. You’ll see “Multi-page Threshold” … set that to a number that gives you what you want.
