Reinstall from App Store

I bought my copy of Nisus Writer Pro (NWP) through Apple's App Store.

Because of a problem I am having with NWP, I would like to try reinstalling NWP to see if that fixes it.

I tried retrieving my license information with my e-mail address, but it's not available that way.

How do you reinstall from the App Store?

Many thanks —

Bill

Open App Store application and tab to Purchases.
Purchases listed and which are not installed will have an active Install button in the list.
Click the Install button for Nisus Writer Pro.

Many thanks, Hamid.

I'm assuming you mean that I should first remove Nisus Writer Pro from the Applications folder and then follow your instructions.

Thanks again, Hamid.

The reinstallation worked, just as you described, and was successful.

However, the problem I'm having with Din Pro and Prensa persists in the reinstalled application.

There must be some incompatibility between the fonts and Nisus Writer Pro.

Back to the drawing board....

Installations through the Mac App Store are tied to your personal Apple account/login. As you discovered, one can reinstall by deleting the app in question and then redownloading it.

That's correct, as App Store purchases aren't really assigned license keys in the same way. Instead it's all handled by Apple and linked to your iTunes account.
