Wirklich?

I much more excited about Nisus 2 than Lion…, I'm not even sure when I'll get the latter.

^ Toll? :p

Can't wait for my download to finish!!! I really want to see how the new version handles longer/larger documents. *patiently waits for download*

I installed NWP Pro 2 today and have one problem so far. When I copy text from a web site and "Paste Text Only" into a Nisus document, the text is coloured dark blue!
How do I turn this option off? I looked in the preferences and can't find any relevant option there.

What a nice surprise: You can not only create text boxes, you can even link them, making the text overflowing from one box to another. I think that should be mentioned in the change log.

Found it - this is the background colour attribute which I set when testing - it didn't appear to work so I ignored it and went on with other stuff. I guess it does work when you paste text into the document!

^ Thanks for letting us know.

Trying it out, so far I've noticed:

• It opens documents faster.

• Comments icon shows how many comments are in a file (pretty useful for me right now, since the comments are usually "stuff that I've got to correct in my thesis).

• Update works for PPC too!!! Thanks for your continuous support to PPC, my sister will be really happy! (She's 13 and loves Nisus, BTW.)

And, ta-dah, Track Changes!!! On this:

• It's great that they're on the right (not left) column, nice one!!!

• Will the changes by other people appear in a new colour?

• Can I change the colour of the "bubble" in which comments/tracked changes appear? I hate yellow.

• Is it me or was the font changed? It seems to be a bigger one too, can one/you go back to the old one? I like it a lot more. (Sorry for complaining so much, but I know you appreciate the feedback ;).)

Cheers!

Is the "watermark" feature available now?

Edit 01:

• I LOVE the Track Changes icon!!! So funny, so original! Kudos to you! Hahaha!

• New Text Box and Shape features are brilliant! Very intuitive and easy to use! I can now finally draw maps on Nisus, and won't have to use the bloody OmniGraffe Pro!

You can set it on the left as well from the gear menu in Track Changes navigator.

Great news, thanks a lot!!!

Edit 1:

• Corrections now offer the option of correcting + add to quick fix.
• When one looks for a word using "find" the searched word kind of "jumps out" when found.

I just spent half an hour fooling around with a document opened in Nisus 2. Wow! I mean: :o !
I am very happy, I had almost all I needed before, and could do without the missing things, but this is really great! Maybe I'll find something missing later, but just now, there are quite a few things I like particularly, and never thought I should need.
And, by the way, thanks for my birthday present: the vertical ruler.

We probably won’t see Geoff for a week, with the vertical ruler - being celebrating and using it. 8)

We will not see Geoff, because he promised a pilgrimage. He should be on the way of the nearest temple...
