Hi Nisus community,
This is my first post, so I would like to share that I started using Nisus Writer Pro at the beginning of my spring semester and have really enjoyed it. Nisus is now my primary word processor.
With that said, I noticed lists appear with dark highlights while editing documents, and it is hard to read the listed number. The highlights do not show on printed documents, but I would like to either change the color or make them disappear during the editing process. So how can I change the list highlight format while editing documents?
Best,
Joel

Welcome Joel,
You can change the behavior of the highlighting via Preferences.
In the preferences window, select Appearance and then at the bottom of the you'll see a box labeled Customizable Colors. Select Automatic Text and then in the right hand box select List Items. There you can change the color or hide the automatic highlighting of list items.

Mike, thank you so much!
I may have another question regarding outlines/indexes soon—using trial an error right now. I will start another thread if I don't figure it out.
Thanks again!
