Stone is good for longevity. On the contrary, do not use any precious metal, or it will be melted down as the barbarians discover our precious libraries.

And stone, too: all the populations that succumbed to the Romans had their towns destroyed, and the documents written in stones broken or reused in small pieces for making roads and public or private buildings.

If, at some time in the future, NWP and .RTF disappear, any other WP will open the RTF documents. There might be some errors and stuff, particularly of tables and the like, but generally there should be no problem.

Open Office and Neo Office will open .rtf files.

Cheers, Geoff
