Re: When is 2.05 coming out?
By the way, I hope they won’t decide to drop Snow Leopard. That would be a deal breaker as far as I’m concerned. Cheers, Henry. And me. I/m not going anywhere in up (or down) grades! :) Cheers, geoff I'm also still on Snow Leopard, and I don't want to lose the 20 years of history in one (now obsole...

Re: all my images are gone
Thanks for your suggestion, but why 2.0.7? Because the higher last number, but still v2.0, tells you it's a bug fix version not a new release. So there will be very little in the way of new facilities, but lots of bugs fixed since your obsolete 2.0.2. NWP 2.0.2 has been replaced. To investigate Nis...

Re: Find/Replace text yet keep the same numbers?
Thanks, Philip, but I must be blind. Where's the Find_CrisB tiff attachment to view and/or download from your post? Can you download it from your post? If so, it must be a problem to do with Firefox 25.0.1 and Snow Leopard...

Re: all my images are gone
Maybe install NWP 2.0.7, retrieve a backup from Time Machine which you know still had all the images, and see if they're still there in 2.0.7. If this was earlier today, do this immediately since Time Machine deletes the hourly copies... If it's still open, then save any changes to your existing fil...

Find/Replace text yet keep the same numbers?
Hi, I sometimes need to Find a string such as "textabc-123-textdef" and Replace it with "textpqr-123-textst". So I want to replace the initial text string "textabc" with "textpqr" keep the identical number "123" and then also replace the second text ...

Re: 2.0.7 is last intended release for 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
I am still using SL, too. sad about losing updates.... :( I'm also still on Snow Leopard, I have 20 years history in one application and so the loss of Rosetta was an enormous hurdle... Martin, can I persuade Nisus to at least fix some if not many of the long outstanding issues with images. They do...

Re: Nisus Pro and the Mac App store
Thanks to the App Store the small software vendor no longer has to pay for and manage a sales website, payment facilities, etc. -- all they need now is a support facility of some sort. That can save them a fortune and make it easier for small developers to sell their software. But you continue to i...

Re: Nisus Pro and the Mac App store
Personally I suspect that if you buy Nisus Writer Pro from the App Store and leave a positive review then you are doing Nisus more good than buying it direct from them. There's indeed value in positive reviews, but drshan did not mention leaving positive reiews - that was reh-im-mond. Drshan was ju...

Re: Nisus Pro and the Mac App store
If I was buying Nisus new today I would definitely buy it from the Mac App Store, and if Apple ever provide a way to transfer pre-existing licenses to the Mac App Store I'll transfer my Nisus license to it in a heartbeat. And hand Apple a third of the price, taking that away from the developers? Wh...

Re: Opening preferences
I sent in a bug report on a similar slow-loading issue a while ago. It happens every time I bring an open NWP Preferences window from the dock, I'm now running NWP 2.0.6 on my Snow Leopard MacMini. When I sent in the requested Activity Monitor sample file, it didn't help. So I subsequently stopped h...

Re: shape moves to previous page on print
I've documented numerous issues with shapes in NWP over the years, including with latest 2.0.6. Unfortunately, this is one area where the usual outstanding Nisus quality is noticeably lacking. Let's hope the next version addresses many of these shape problems - and that it comes out sooner rather th...

Re: How to change newline macro to remove both List & TOC st
To get this macro to insert a TOTALLY plain line, one that also has no color nor bolding etc, then it also needs the following two lines
Menu 'Format:Remove Attributes Except Styles'
Menu 'Character Style:Remove Character Styles'
