Hi Hanna –
I am not used to Hebrew – but what font do you use?
Maybe an old pre-/non-Unicode font?

Re: Line spacing when using Combining Diacritical Marks
Hi –
for me the coolest way to handle the content of Unicode fonts is using PopChar –

There is a secondary font option in Nisus Preferences | Languages | Secondary Font

Re: Line spacing when using Combining Diacritical Marks
Again – you wrote: This was much clearer than what you said last time -- thank you for clarifying. I was able to follow the instructions this time. But, on my machine, it still doesn't work. The behavior is the same whether using ABC or US keyboard and whether typing the keystroke for the diacritica...

Re: Line spacing when using Combining Diacritical Marks
Hi – then you haven't been to SIL as well – may I guess? https://software.sil.org/fonts/ HE PS: you wrote: However, NisusWriter still shifts the baseline when using combining diacritical marks in this font. This would seem to demonstrate that the problem lies in the way NisusWriter does baselines. :...

Re: Line spacing when using Combining Diacritical Marks
Again – the Baseline is defined by the Font used – so I would prefer not to leave my Font at all. Besides customising your Font you can combine within this font all Latin Characters with all Combining Diacritical Marks in the way I wrote before and all will be fine. Font substitution is forced when ...

Re: Line spacing when using Combining Diacritical Marks
HI all – my guess, as I never ever use Arial – and there are different version around, too! For the "q̄" I would prefer and did use a "macron" for just a single character: entered "q" with SHIFT/OPTION: "a" on ABC – Extended Keyboard. I never need to enter multiple "overlined" characters though, wha...

Re: Japanese top>bottom, right>left
Well – as I am still running SIERRA, and iWORK runs on HIGH SIERRA as well – question is, does Vertical Text run on HIGH SIERRA? MAJOVE is out of reach for my early 2011 MacBook Pro I got two internal SSDs for and still hesitate to go AFS Format somehow. With Vertical Text running I would get HIGH t...

Re: Paste does not work same in 3.0
Hi – for whatever reason "Shift-Option-Command-V" works with me for Paste-Text-Only. I tried intuitively - so don't ask me why. Somehow Option got added for MWP 3.0… HE BTW: I'm still on Sierra! English (U.S.) language & German keyboard… "Shift-Command-V" gives for me this History pop-up: http://www...
