Are your ToC entries all or part of a heading/paragraph?
Since the Navigator/ToC panel on the left of the window is usually far too narrow to show any more than a couple of words, see attached image, my ToC entries are mostly only a few words from a heading or paragraph. I very rarely print documents or use Tools/Table of Contents/Insert TOC, I mostly use...

Re: Move a header or footer lower or higher
I'm not quite sure if this is relevant, your heading suggests yes, but not necessarily the body of your post... NWP 2.0.4 ignores any vertical space specified at the top of a footer line. I'm not sure why. So my kludge is to put a small blank line in the footer before the first footer text line whic...

Need page-up/down to move a whole page at a time
The ShowTextWidth option is great, and I prefer it to ShowPageWidth when seeing how a paragraph looks. But now I need to see how each page looks. I can use ShowEntirePage, but I'd rather not waste the unused horizontal space. Yet I'm battling to get NWP to show me a whole page (text width, without s...

Appreciate the suggestion, Martin, I hadn't thought of that.martin wrote:In the meantime you can still use the menus to introspect/activate the link (eg: use the contextual menu).

Re: Need a hyperlink on an image in a pdf
Thanks, Martin, an icon for the link on the image would do nicely, I need it to to check that the link is set up correctly and goes where I want ti to go...martin wrote:Maybe there could be a special hotspot on the selected image that shows a link icon, which would open the link when clicked.

Need a hyperlink on an image in a pdf
I wish to put a hyperlink on an image, so when a pdf is created and the image is clicked on, then it'll go to that url. Just as you can put a hyperlink on an image on a web-page. Is this possible now? If so, how? I've tried selecting the image, but then Insert/Hyperlink options are all greyed out. I...

Re: Feature idea
Am I misunderstanding something? Yes, to set the shortcut needs a visit to the Preferences window, but that's only once. To use it, you just hit the shortcut-keys. I'm doing this. I've set Control-S, the standard Save menu shortcut, to actually go to a macro which was kindly suggested by Hamid in th...

Re: Both Character and Paragraph Styles replicate unnecessar
I must have been copying and pasting all the keys all back then. Now I just type the keywords and only copy/paste the one with the anytext special. But I haven't checked through the results again, although the enormous Style replication problem still exists in spades. Right now, I'm just living with...

Re: Forum login does not return me to the clicked comment
Hi, I just tried to reload this page, and yet again it said I was not logged in. :-( So I've just had to log in again. Obviously, the browser has stayed up during the overnight sleep, it has not been restarted. So checking that box has not worked for me... fyi. The legend at the bottom says: "U...

Thanks, exegete77, that suggests there's an interface problem between my browser: latest Firefox ESR 10.0.11 and the Nisus Forum. Maybe I should give it a try in Safari.

Forum login does not return me to the clicked comment
Is there a way to allow this forum to keep me checked in longer? It throws me out on a daily basis, unlike Google Webmaster which keeps me logged in indefinitely. When I'm informed about a comment by email and click on it, I'm not logged in. But when I click login then it does NOT return me to the c...

Re: Both Character and Paragraph Styles replicate unnecessar
The only find expression that I paste in the Find window is the PowerFind one with "anytext". All the others are typed into the Find window - rather than pasted - so would undo or redo have a style associated with them? They're all just text characters, and Attribute Sensitive is unchecked...
