Rivka: To make this a two-step process, I created the following Apple Script. . For each table cell: 1. Select text; 2. Run the script. If you keep the script open in Script Editor, you can just hit the Run button. I'm sure the script can be improved. There is at least one problem: After the script ...

It is not possible to sort within table cells in English either. What you can do is select the text you wish to sort within each cell. copy the text elsewhere, sort it using "Sort Paragraphs", and paste it back into the cell. You can automate this process a bit by creating the following Me...

Dirk, You are very welcome. After seeing your post, I wondered if your problem would occur with a macro that I had written to change selected text; the problem did not occur. As the only relevant difference between my macro and "Common Regexp Processing" was the added line (p 195 of the Ni...

Here is a fix, but I don't know why it works. Add the line "#{text as rtf}" after the line "#destination front selection". Then the macro does nothing if nothing is selected.

BRL: To get an answer to your "Join" question, you will get more attention if you start a new forum topic. I for one only rarely check this topic. That said, you need to clarify what you want your Join macro to do. Are you asking that each carriage return be replaced by a space? What about...

Thanks, Ruchama. I don't know enough to comment about working in a primary language other than English. It might be worthwhile to point out that if the first Perl script "Fix Caps in Selection" is created, then the second script can be replaced by a two-line Nisus Menu Command Macro (file ...

Here are two Nisus Perl scripts (Macros) to solve meiner's problem. "Fix Caps in Selection" fixes the problem within selected text. "Fix Caps All" fixes the problem in an entire document. To create these scripts, go to the Macro Menu and select "New Perl" Script." ...

If the page indicator at the bottom left shows "page 1 of 1," but you see two pages in preview, then you may have found a bug and should email the document to support. However, when this has happened to me, the page indicator showed "page 1 of 2" and there was something invisible...

As this is a problem that no-one else has encountered, it is probably something particular to your setup or system. Things you can do (I may have forgot some): Open console and check the log for any statements about Nisus Express generated during the time you were working on the table. Save the rele...

If a Nisus document with subscripts is opened in Word, then the lines appear with fixed spacing.

While this doesn't solve the problem, it helps those of us who primarily send Nisus documents to Word users.

Here is a source for unicodes.

Inserting from the Character Palette is easier than I originally stated: just double-click. So I modified my response above.

This appears to be a system phenomenon-- the keyboard behaves the same way in Word. You CAN insert accented letters from the Character Palette Cyrillic list; just double-click. Ignore the insert box. You could also create a "glossary" document of all the accented letters from the Character...

Try deleting the plist file from your user library. That has fixed some unusual problems.
