I think you just got a little mixed up there.. the paragraph styles are applied via the menu system, so your command needs to be one of the following:

Code: Select all

Heading 1
Format:Paragraph Style:Heading 1
Menu "Heading 1"
Menu "Format:Paragraph Style:Heading 1"

Thanks for reporting this Derick- I'd consider it a bug that you can't copy paste Note Styles and have filed it as such.

We are looking into the baseline issue, which I believe has so far only been reported by users of Intel-based Macs.

At this time there is no direct support for managing a large document across multiple files. Basically you'll have to configure the sections yourself, eg: setting the starting page number of the second document in your chain, etc.

Re: Are these bugs?

2 The page counter in the bottom left corner seems to take its cue from the inserted page number, not the actual page number. The current page number displays the logical/virtual page number, which is the number you've assigned it via your section options. It sounds like you'd prefer to see the phy...

If the graphic is inline then you can apply the "keep with next paragraph" option to the graphic and it will stay on the same page as the text following it. If you want to add a caption to a floating graphic then your only option is to add the caption as part of the graphic itself.

I'll email you privately about this Sabon- I may need to collect some additional information from you. In general this should not be a problem, as by default the admin group has read/write access to the "/Library" folder. So if the user you are using is an administrator you should have all...

I would bet that you are having troubles because a smart/curly quote is not matched to a dumb/plain quote. When you type into the Find panel our QuickFix feature will smarten/curl your quotes for you. You can turn this feature off in our QuickFix preferences if you like. Or you can use the Undo menu...

This is some kind of bug and we'll look into it. I'm not sure why we're afflicted with the bug, since we use the standard Apple document framework (which includes provisions for saving documents). But we must be doing something to disrupt the normal behavior.

NWP saves your licenses to the Library folder of the appropriate domain, eg: you will need write access to either ~/Library or /Library.

That is correct. The live word count also does not count text in footnotes (as others have noted). We understand that people would like the option to include these parts of the document in the word count.

Re: another curly quotes issue / x-posted from NWP Beta foru

With curly quotes enabled, when I type a double quote followed by a single quote, the single quote comes out as a closing quote rather than an opening quote. Thanks Derick, I've filed the bug for fixing. I solved the problem (for the time being) by unchecking "Use smart ponctuation” in the Qui...
