Open adobe reader, click on the 'recent files' menu item in the Files menu. You should find your copy there; cmd-click on the title (has the pdf icon) and you will see the folder where you saved the file; move your pointer to it, and you will be in that folder; now move the copy to wherever you want...

Harry, You have not supplied any details of how the BE Find macro has failed, so it is hard to know how to help. Perhaps you are trying to use the macro in a way that won't work. The macro might fail if BE opens the wrong database or if it doesn't know which one to open. The best way to avoid this i...

PB G4 OSX 10.4.10. Freeze here, too. On my PB -alt- is a shifted option key. However if I substituted OPTION-i, my keyboard froze after CMD-z, just as r-sparks stated. There was no crash log. Here is the console session. Each line is generated when I hit a key. ===== Sunday, July 1, 2007 9:48:13 AM ...

Macro to reformat many tables?
From Word I imported an rtf file with many tables. Most are ill-formed and need to be reformatted. I want to apply the command "Fit to Contents" to all the tables in the document. I know that I can put a menu macro "Table:Fit to Contents" inside an Applescript. However, for the &...

Jean-Pierre: I assume from your name that you are using NWE in French. For a possible solution to the palette problem, see: http://www.nisus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1541 . There Martin supplied a plist to solve a similar palette problem that affected a French language user.

OS X 10.4.8, BE 9.1. I don't have footnotes, but scanning the main text with BE's default citation { } delimiters doesn't work for me. In fact BE crashes if I start the scan from there. Changing the delimiters to ~ ~ solved the problem. Also, BE did not install its latest macros into the Nisus Macro...

I tried to replicate your problem with no success and I'm sure others have too. You don't say if the problem was restricted to a single to document or to all Nisus documents. In any case Tech Support might be able to help. As a start, move the com.nisus.NisusWriter.plist in your home Library's Appli...

Request: Forum or Repository for Macros & Scripts
People have written some very useful apple scripts, menu macros, and Perl macros for NWX, and Nisus Pro looks to have even better scripting possibilities. It would be very helpful to have a place where scripts could be listed and described. At the simplest, there could be an ongoing scripting topic ...

Welcome back to the forum! NWX's native format is RTF. I collaborate with Word users and we have no trouble reading and writing each other's documents. Tables, lists, and columns translate just fine. Possible formats of saved files, excerpted from the manual • plain text • HTML • Microsoft Word (97 ...
