Re: Word underline
Thank you for this, but now I wonder: is the language of the macros a matter of specialists ? Or is there a place in the manual where to work out a macro is explained ? For example, if I want to change a font to another throughout a document. I tried Find and replace but (I am not surprised) this do...

where is the technical line for Nisus ?
I understand I cannot receive answers to my problems with Nisus on the forum, in spite of all good will from some of you. Nisus is interesting but my impression is that it should be seriously reworked for people trying to migrate Word docs to Nisus through RTF. 1. First I am obliged to go through Li...

Re: Happy New Year and Style Library
For the Nisus New File I am going to edit. . . it is found in Nisus Documents/Glossaries/Glossaries/Glossaries/Templates. . . As for my glossary it is located at: Nisus Documents/Glossaries/Glossaries/Glossaries/Glossaries… I have already mentioned this when using the precedent version of NWPro and ...

Re: Happy New Year and Style Library
I guess I am not the first user encountering this problem. Is it congenial to the app ?

Re: Happy New Year and Style Library
I would be very pleased to get an answer, a path, a hint, anything about these disparitions of Style Library, Glossaries, not to say anything about the templates... They seem to regularly change location for from the beginning of Using the app. and after a few weeks every time, these disappear. My i...

Happy New Year and Style Library
Hi, here is what exasperate me sometimes with Nisus. For a few weeks I can save a modified style in what I have called "My Own Library" and all of a sudden (one more time since the last year) Nisus does not find the connection with it. Here is the situation when I try Well screen shots are...

Re: character recognition
I just tried to directly convert old Word docs into Nisus 3.01 and it is much better, though not perfect. It converts the mentioned paragraphs under the form of latin characters and, this time, the paragraphs are retrovertible by selecting the normal style; though in Times, not Times New Roman. It is...

character recognition
Hi, I usually convert the Word docs through LibreOffice, then save them in RTF before opening them in Nisus. I discovered the formats are better preserved this way. Today opening this way a nine years old docs, Libre Office gave me a rather trustful rendering of my Word doc except for the Zapf dingb...

Re: Word underline
Thank you all for the answers. They are a bit complex and the suggestion by Adrian to add this kind of underlining in the menu sounds good to the novice I am. I totally agree with the fact that it is neither elegant nor very useful to have this kind of underlining in a published text. Fact is that I...

Word underline
Hi,
Am I correct in assuming that there is not in Nisus a Word underline, though the new line is much fetter Thant it was in the precedent version.

Re: manual
Many thanks, I can find it and use it. And let me apologise for the late in night critics of the new product. It looks truly fine and easier to use.
Sincerely,
Yohanan

Re: manual
Thank you Adrian and Philip Fact is that when I opened the paragraph border palette, in the Edges to modify I was not able to select only one of the four possible borders of a paragraph or a text. My mistake was that I have to select the desired line in the first square and in the same time, the thi...

Before... it was easy to write the name of the font you chose, now, in the tiny window you have to roll down all the names before you reach Times or Times New Roman, no way to shorten this ?

paragraph border
The paragraph border palette shows no option for one line only, left, right, above or below, as it did before. I hope there is some place where this is still possible for it is very useful when presenting a margin on one side in the document.
