Right...I looked the two viruses on the Internet and they are Windows only. I check Nisus news from work on a Windows machine as well. A responsible webmaster should have responded to me a month ago when I first saw this (it didn't appear until middle August). It is still there and makes them look b...

Virus on Nisus Website?
I emailed your Webmaster several times with no reply or attempt to eliminate this so I will post it here. From my work PC (Windows XP and Symantex Antivirus) and from my occurs everytime I select "SUPPORT" on your Nisus web page (http://www.nisus.com/). Actually, in Windows, Symantec detec...

I disagree that this should be the behaviour within an application. That would redefine what copy and paste does. When I copy from one text document to another, I want it to copy that text, not reference the other. This is the way it has worked for some time. However, I also think that there could ...

He's saying that linkback should work with NWE itself as well as other LB enabled progs. Example: insert a OmniGraffle document into a NWE document in NWE and when the OmniGraffle document is updated, those udpates should appear magically in NWE. What he's saying is that NWE documents, when pasted i...

I hate to say this, but you may want to check out Mellel (http://www.redlers.com) as it fully supports OpenType. I think the developer is in Israel as well. With that said, I have bought Nisus as it is easier and more natural to use.

NW2.5fc1 starts off and is quick, but as I type it slowed and slowed until I was having trouble deleting characters via BACKSPACE. NW was using 80% CPU just when I typed. The document was started in NW and was two pages with a numbered list and a table. My Mac is a 1GHz G4 Tower, 1Gig memory, 80GB H...

I NEED THIS IN NISUS. This is indeed possible! Try: Edit > Paste > Paste Text Only This provides exactly what you're looking for. Thanks for pointing out the fact I need new glasses immediately...not sure how I overlooked that. The issue of inserting symbols can be solved via the INPUTS menu (part ...

Nisus 2.5fc1 looks great. How do I insert an odd symbol such as a lambda, sigma, or mu which I seem to use often? Also, when I copy text from another document or web site and paste it into my document in Nisus, the formatting is retained. Is there a way to paste the text and have it conform to the l...

Re: is once a day enough
I don't know, it isn't a daily thing, because my bigger writing projects come all at once, then it is four or five times a day, especially when it comes to transposing characters I use the quick fix to automatically change 'teh' to 'the' I guess I try to type fast and the results is the need to tra...

Nisus 2.5 Beta 2 is slow; I can type faster than it can update (on a 1GHz G4 with 1GB memory). Is the slowness with a particular document or is it slow even in an empty document? If it only occurs in a particular set of documents, please email one to us and so we can have a look, thanks. The slowne...
