Philip you really are too kind, as you always have been in the old dartmouth-times. Thank you!!
@nisus-team. Please reconsider NWPs chapter functions.

Re: Chapter numbers
Hi Philip, thank you. This wasn't obvious to me, because I do not use styles at all. I just write in Courier 12 and that's it. No formatting whatsoever. Only chapternumbers ;-) Now, if I hit COM1 a chapternumber appears, I can write some text, hit return and go on with no further number. Great BUT. ...

Re: Chapter numbers
Hi Martin,
thank you for your solutions!
But how do I make a paragraph style enforce a list style?
But it is nonetheless akward, that you have to create styles although you just want to use chapters. Wouldn't it be nice NWP rather would offer the user to create chapters instead?

Re: Chapter numbers
Hi Philip! What do I want? I want to type a chapternumber (and a chapter subnumber) by typing COM1 (COM 11), as I did in NWC. And I do NOT want to get a further chapternumber when hitting return afterwards, which is MS Word like and may be handy for lists, but not for chapters. I DONT want to be for...

Hi Mark,
neither does restarting NWP solve the problem nor restarting OS X.

Chapter numbers
I am writing a book with chapters and I am truly missing NWCs chapter numbers and define numbers dialogue.
Is there any chance to get that back in a future version of NWP?

Can not drag and drop
On X 10.7.8 I can not drag (and drop) text no more? And only in NWP.
What is going on? How can I solve this?
Best, Matze

Simultaneous Scrolling of two documents
Hi there,
once upon a time one could scroll two documents simultaneously in NWC.
Is this (I couldn't find any hint in the helpfile) or will this be possible in NWP?

Re: Why is NWP so painfully slow?
Hi there,
I am writing a book, 100+ pages, and NWP has become very slow in saving, editing and writing. Beachball olé!
Is there anything I can do to be able to write within that document as fast as I would in a 4 page document?
Best regards, Matze

Re: Multiple Searches in one selection
As far as I know, if you select some text and search “In Selection”, the engine will find all occurrences within the selection without any need to select again. For example, try to select a portion of text, then activate Find/Replace. Click on “In Selection” from the “Where” pop-up menu. Enter some...

Re: Multiple Searches in one selection
Philip, I never was aware of this command.
It does what I need, even if I have to switch from f/r-window to the document, choose the command and go back.
(In times of Mac OS X NWpro isn't the one and only program I use as NW was in Classic-times and I am far from mastering NWpro.)

Duplicate Macros

Have a look at the attached jpg When I open the macro folder, folders only contain single macrofiles Moreover there are macros with english names and those with german names. Multiple Searches in one selection
Hello there nise people,
it would be nice, if I could search in one selection for different things one after another WITHOUT having to select the stuff again after each search.
Is this possible with a macro or in a future NWPRO version?
Best regards Matze

InfoClick - Congratulations
Hi Nise People!
A nice piece of software! Could become one of those programs I couldn't live without.
Best Matze
PS by the way: what about a mailkeeperlike tagging software?
