the problem I ran into with Quickfix is that my addition (I could only make one at a time or else my previous entry would immediately disappear) vanished as soon as I left the screen. How do I get my entries to "stick"? Is there a save button I'm missing?

have you heard of Textpander? This seems to be similar & also gets good reviews. I'm a writer who uses certain names, phrases repetitively and need something super simple for a handful of basic autocompletes.

I used this nifty little program with Classic with great success. Has anyone used it with NWE?

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes closing its window fixes the problem, other times, not. Sometimes a few keystrokes in the doc fixes the problem, other times, not. Anyone else notice this? Any solutions?

I used "go to page ____" and "insert chapter #" constantly in Classic. Please please please add them to NWE!!! The first made navigating a doc so fast & easy...the second made adding/deleting chapters also fast & easy...I work with long docs & really miss these two!

I spoke with George at Nisus...he said that most likely there was a temporary bug..."Find" now works fine...Quitting the program & going back cleared the problem... Also, there's no "go to page" function in Nisus Express...you need to scroll down and keep an eye on the page m...

After a conversation with George at Nisus, it turned out that the document in question had been corrupted during the transfer from OS 9 to OS X...So the problem wasn't with Nisus....Again thank you for your in...

Hi dshan....The doc is plain vanilla, English language, helvetica, double spaced manuscript (it's a novel), no charts, diagrams, lists or other "fancy" formatting...Really, it could not be more basic. My husband & I just sent another book to our publisher...the ms was created in Classi...
