Thank you both for your replies.
Martin, if I do it your way, how can I get the automatic paragraph numbering to apply only to a selection, not the whole document?

Paragraph Numbering
Is there a way to have only non-blank paragraphs in a selection numbered?
Thanks,

Comments question
I am using the latest version of Nisus Writer Pro.
Is there any way I can add comments to a document and then share the document and my comments with someone who does not have Nisus Writer Pro?

ePub question
I created a short ePub file from Nisus Writer Pro - latest version on a Mac. It opens fine in iBooks on my Mac, but does not open at all in iBooks on my iPad. Anyone else experience this?

Find-Replace question
I have text with words containing a dash plus a space as in "indi- cates." I would like to find all the words containing a dash and a space and close them, so that "indi- cates" becomes "indicates." How can I do that using Find/Replace?

Re: Title case macro
Philip, Thanks for the excellent reply. I was able to add words to the "Title Case Exempted Words" macro; however, when I run the "Title Case Capitalization" macro, the same screen appears as for the "Title Case Exempted Words" macro in which you can add/edit exempted words. I did select text to be ...

Re: Title case macro
Philip, In the style guide I follow for academic papers, all prepositions within a title are not capitalized. So, if I did not want "about" to be capitalized, would I just add it to $defaultList in the Title Case Exempted Words macro in the correct alphabetical position and then save the file? Howard

Re: Title case macro
Philip,
Thanks for the link. How do I open, change, and save the capitalization macro?
Can I save the Title Case macro in "Format | Character Case" so it appears as "Display as Title Case"? If so, how can I do that?

Bullet question
I'm using the current version of Nisus Writer Pro on Snow Leopard. I have a list where some of the list items are at the second level of indentation. For those items, I want their bullet shape to be a square rather than the circle that the first-level items have. How do I effect that?

Frequent crashes
I'm running Nisus Writer Pro 2.0.6 on Snow Leopard. Whenever I try to paste things I've copied from the Web, such as directions I've copied from MapQuest, into Nisus Writer Pro, the program aborts.

Capitalization question
After every carriage return, the first letter of the next word is automatically capitalized. Is there a way to prevent that from happening?

Re: PowerFind question
Could "Found" have been used in the code example that found text duplication and replaced the duplicates with one copy? If it could, what would Found replace and where would Found appear in the code? Not in this double-word matching example, because the (Found) bubble is a stand-in for the entire m...
