Plain Newline macro with no List, TOC, bold, color - Solved

Hi, I'm trying to revise Martin's nice new Remove Lists newline to also remove the ToC style. This is an attempt to overcome the lack of a fully functional NWP "Remove Styles and Attributes' command, one which actually works as stated and also removes List and TOC styles. A "Remove Everything" comma...

Re: Possible bug in 2.0.5 with font sizes

Yes, 2.0.5 did this to me as well. But the work-around is very simple and I don't change font sizes at all often... But if you'd like this bug fixed sooner rather than later, then please post your support to Nisus issuing more frequent bug-fixes on page http://nisus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=54...

Re: Request for Nisus to issue more frequent NWP bug-fixes

can't see why Nisus don't issue minor point release bug-fix-only releases 3 or 4 times a year, with feature enhancements once a year or so. Having to wait a year or more for bug fixes bundled with feature enhancements like the new macro stuff is too long, they need to separate bug fix releases and ...

Poll now workin: Do you support more frequent NWP bug-fixes?

In a previous post, see http://nisus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5382 , I made the following comment: I find it difficult to envisage how Nisus support could be better . Actually there is one: more frequent bug fixes - such as the one NWP 2.0.5 that has just come out - would be an improvement. Ev...

Re: Chapter numbers

I do NOT want to get a further chapternumber when hitting return afterwards, which is MS Word like and may be handy for lists, but not for chapters. Martin sent me a macro which clears styles and everything when used, and I've set it as Option Return keystroke (using QuicKeys) when I don't want any...

Re: Previewing Font On Highlited text

Nisus ... Support is forum only. There's also Nisus support using Help > Send Feedback - which is really superb. They reply within a couple of days, sometimes even overnight (they're in California). But you do need to ensure you clearly specify the issue: - what is happening, what you think should ...

Re: Are your ToC entries all or part of a heading/paragraph?

Thanks, Bovardur. Yes, I've known I can widen the Navigator pane for many years now. But the wider you make it, the less space you have for the content. That's why I said it's " usually " far too narrow... But it would be great to know If you use TOC entries in the Navigator pane to navigate around ...

Are your ToC entries all or part of a heading/paragraph?

Since the Navigator/ToC panel on the left of the window is usually far too narrow to show any more than a couple of words, see attached image, my ToC entries are mostly only a few words from a heading or paragraph. I very rarely print documents or use Tools/Table of Contents/Insert TOC, I mostly use...

Re: Move a header or footer lower or higher

I'm not quite sure if this is relevant, your heading suggests yes, but not necessarily the body of your post... NWP 2.0.4 ignores any vertical space specified at the top of a footer line. I'm not sure why. So my kludge is to put a small blank line in the footer before the first footer text line whic...

Need page-up/down to move a whole page at a time

The ShowTextWidth option is great, and I prefer it to ShowPageWidth when seeing how a paragraph looks. But now I need to see how each page looks. I can use ShowEntirePage, but I'd rather not waste the unused horizontal space. Yet I'm battling to get NWP to show me a whole page (text width, without s...

Need a hyperlink on an image in a pdf

I wish to put a hyperlink on an image, so when a pdf is created and the image is clicked on, then it'll go to that url. Just as you can put a hyperlink on an image on a web-page. Is this possible now? If so, how? I've tried selecting the image, but then Insert/Hyperlink options are all greyed out. I...
