64 bit Nisus Thesaurus?
I know that Apple is soon to require 64 bit apps on its OSX High Sierra. When checking my System Report for software, I noticed that Nisus Thesaurus is 32 bit — it specifically identifies it as "No" re: its 64 bit status. I wonder how this will impact Nisus Writer Pro users. Are there plan...

Re: A couple of questions re: Shape anchors, Headers, Footer
Thanks, phspaelti
I appreciate your reply to my questions. You've given me some things to think about and to work on. I'll tinker around a bit with your macro suggestion for headers and footers to see if I can make it work.

A couple of questions re: Shape anchors, Headers, Footers
1. Is it possible to have unanchored shapes? I can't quite understand the point of that long line that extends from the anchor to the shape or just how it is affecting things. 2. In a Template I have created, I have Headers and Footers set up to include: a line shape, page numbers, and text. I have ...

Re: Master Document
Uh, oh. You caught me in my lapse to MS Word. Like a dog to its vomit, I guess. 20 years of using it at work is hard to overcome. I think your "Join Files" and "Styles" advice will prove to be helpful. Just need to play around with it bit. I am still something of a Nisus novice, ...

Master Document
Is there a way to create a Master Document with linked Subdocuments in NWP? This would allow for consistent formatting and page numbering for very long documents. Can't seem to locate it in the User Guide.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Bullet size
Is it possible to resize a bullet relative to the text? For example, 12 point text but 10 point bullet. I know it can be done by selecting an individual bullet and resizing. However, can it be reset for all future occurrences of the bullet in that list?

Re: Setting paragraph style within a text box
Thanks for your reply, Mike. I thought that might work, too. However, the only thing that happens is that space after the text box increases. So, the paragraph following the box is affected, but the text within the box is not. It's been a curious thing to deal with.

Setting paragraph style within a text box
I am having trouble editing text within a text box. I'd like to increase the paragraph spacing above the text from the lines of the box itself. Maybe add 6 to 12 pts above the text.
Ideally, it might be vertically centered in the box.
Any help?
Thanks.

Re: Somebody please make a tutorial for NW Pro!
Thanks to you who replied to my post, especially Patrick. Interestingly, I think the responses - and the non-replies of those who viewed my post - sort of demonstrate the point I am making: There are virtually no training resources available for this program. Please, Nisus. :D . . . You would serve ...

Somebody please make a tutorial for NW Pro!
I really want to get into NWP, but the manual is not too helpful in terms of learning the program. Frankly, it was not really designed to do that, and it requires a lot of flipping to other places for more explanations. I have looked everywhere I can think of to find a tutorial - video, book, or int...
