Re: Removing "Comments" and "Track Changes."
Create a new user account, log into that account and see if the problem persists. That's a fast and good way to find out whether your account has been corrupted.

Re: Removing "Comments" and "Track Changes."
Are you saying that you definitely have Comments in the document, and when you execute Select All from the Edit menu, "Remove Comments in Selection" in the Tool menu is not enabled (grayed out)?

Re: Removing "Comments" and "Track Changes."
1) To remove all "comments" from the document, select all text in the document and then execute the menu command Tools > Comments > Remove Comments in Selection This command won't be available unless something is selected. If you want to keep a copy of your comments, you can use one of the...

Re: Can't make the dictionary remember words
I am trying to add words to the US English dictionary. This is your custom dictionary. It can be found here: /Users/YOU/Library/Spelling/en My English custom dictionary is just called "en". Perhaps yours has the same name too. Anyway, select the file in Finder and choose Get Info from Fin...

Re: Can't seem to create a new template
The thing is, when I attempt to save something as a template, using "Save As" and "Document template" as the file type, the file does not automatically go to my Templates directory within the Document Manager. The Templates folder you highlighted in your screenshot is not an ord...

Re: Sample-Files?
Macros are not necessarily needed. You are right, Amontillado. I was just going to correct myself, but you were faster. :–) However, there are some very good style macros available that help automate things. My favorite is "Remove Unused Styles & add My Styles". This is good for clean...

Re: Sample-Files?
(Applying style sets) -> Do I understand right? There is a possibilty to apply a whole style set to a file to change all of the formatting at once - and switch all at once back? Yes, you can do that with macros. You should discuss that in the Macros Forum. How do I proceed? You can use different me...

fellow Nisuoids! Wow! Re: Sample-Files?
I'm not aware of any official sample files, so I support Amontillado's suggestion to provide the User Manual, or at least a part of it, as a sample file in RTF format. There is a video by James Tummins available which introduces Nisus to new users. It covers (1) Working Environment, (2) Using Styles...

Re: FR: Have font search string look for matches in entire font name, not merely from the beginning
I want a mono-spaced font, but I can never remember the names of the ones I have, except that they have “mono” in the names. Have you considered a new customized font collection? You can create your own font-collections and have them appear in the Font menu. This can be done in two ways, either in ...

Re: Abbreviations by Typeit4Me
Why doesn’t Nisus accept the abbreviations by Typeit4Me I don't know the exact reason, but because of this incompatibility I switched to Typinator which works flawlessly with Nisus. However, TypeIt4Me works on my old MacBook Pro 2010 if I press the fn key each time after the trigger. I don't know w...
