Disappearing text when using columns wrapping to second page
I have a regular template I use: letter, portrait, two columns, with a line between them. Almost every time I use this template, when I am typing on page 1, and hit the end of the page so that text should start flowing onto page 2, the second column on page 1 disappears entirely, and I cannot see an...

Re: NWP on 10.8 locks up when trying to create a style
More information. In experimenting with various documents, I can now reproduce the crash repeatedly. Make a new blank US Letter document. Set your margins to .5" on all sides. The style editor works fine. Now change the Inside or Outside margin to .4" If it doesn't crash right away, then t...

NWP on 10.8 locks up when trying to create a style
I reported this in a thread on the rMBP, but since this seems to be a bigger issue than I thought at first, I will post it in its own thread. I am running 10.8 GM (I have a dev account). Nisus Writer Pro locks up, with 100% on a CPU core, whenever you try to create a new style, whether from scratch,...

Re: Nisus Wp 2.0.2 and the Retina Display
I can confirm that NWP looks fantastic on the Macbook Pro Retina. Since the bulk of the UI is text anyway, the slightly fuzzy icons don't distract at all. I run at 1920x1080 equivalent, though, so the "ideal" scaling, which is 1400x900 equivalent, will, of course, look more fuzzy. But you ...

Re: Nisus compatibility with osx 10.8?
I'm using 10.8 GM (I have a developer account), on a Retina Macbook Pro. On Lion everything works flawlessly. On 10.8, I can consistently lock up NWP if I double-click on a style (character or paragraph). Of course, there is no reason to double-click on a paragraph style when a single-click will do,...

Re: Frequent intermittent hangs
kjetil02, you are not alone. I regularly experience this problem. It always seems to happen when I am selecting text. Suddenly the program will freeze up. However, in my case it doesn't freeze up completely. No beachball. But the interface is unresponsive. I try to click, and i get highlights instea...

Re: Problems working in Greek text (Unicode).
Well - I guess it's a mixup of Classical vs Unicode fonts plus Logos handling - it looks like the Greek "semicolon" is actually a Uncicode "middle dot". It's kind of misuse - I don't know neither Greek nor Logos nor the font used in Logos - but Unicode "middle dot" got...

Problems working in Greek text (Unicode).
In Nisus, I am consistently have an issue when pasting Greek text from Logos 4 for Mac. Any time the text contains a Greek semicolon (which looks like a raised dot), I am getting an upper-case Sigma, which I believe is being used as the "default" character for an unmatched unicode characte...

Re: Left and First Identation relative to Page. Why?
You're quite right, the lack of indent controls on a palette is a bit perplexing and is something we should add. Thank you for your suggestions, we appreciate them. Thank you, I really appreciate using a product with a responsive and active development team. And thank you for being so receptive and...

Left and First Identation relative to Page. Why?
I just purchased Nisus Pro after being a Mellel user for a few years. Everything I have seen in Nisus Pro makes sense (except for one thing), and I love the style editor. Most intuitive thing I have ever seen. However, one thing in Nisus sticks out from all other word processors I have ever used: Le...
