OMFGWTFBBQ! That's amazing. I just did half a day's manual labor in 10 seconds.

Convert All Italics to Underline
Hi all.
I'm preparing a document for publication and have been asked by my editor to convert all my italics to underline. Is there a macro or a quick find and replace that will allow me to select all instances of italics and replace them with an underline?
Thanks in advance!

Remove Highlighting on Automatic Text
Hi all.
Where is the option to remove the highlighting of automatic numbers (bullets, numbered lists, etc) in NWP? It used to be under preferences in the general tab, but I can't find it.

Class Calendar
Every semester, I create a syllabus for my classes that includes a table with a list of dates and assignments for those dates. I have always done this by hand. Would it be possible to have a macro spit out a list of days/dates within a certain range (for MWF and T/Th) so I don't have to do this by h...

Default Behavior: Open Last Document or not?
Martin and I have been discussing whether or not the preference to open the last document on launch should be checked or un-checked by default. I argue that it should be unchecked by default, since it is confusing to users why a document has opened all on its own; it forces users to hunt down how to...

Re: Moleskine
I am indeed. If you'll notice, the ruled version of the extralarge notebook is "held up in customs." but interestingly not the plain version. Are they transporting illegal substances between the lines? Gotcha. How long have they been unavailable? My experience has been that moleskine.us i...

RANT! "Default Spacing After" Paragraph!1!one!
The default setting for spacing after a paragraph is set to 6 points. This is annoying. It's arbitrary (why not 12? Why not 112? Why not 8?) Hell, while we're changing defaults, why not set all fonts to be bolded, and if you complain, someone will tell you "Change it in the prefs"! I know ...

Thanks, Scott. It was a crazy semester followed by a broken foot followed by a research trip to Europe.scottwhitlock wrote:Good to see you back, midwinter. I've missed the banana.
But I'm back and writing again, so my plan is to bury Martin in feature requests for the upcoming Nisus Writer Super-Pro.

Wanted: Date/Time Macro
Hi all. I'm wondering if someone would take pity on me and create a date/time macro for me. Specifically, I'd like a macro that would produce this with a single click: Wednesday, June 17, 2007 9:51 PM I know that there is a date/time macro built in, but I can't make heads or tails of Perl. Thanks in...
