Re: Footnotes in ePub Export format
Martin, do you think it would help to convert them to endnotes?

Re: Footnotes in ePub Export format
Thanks Martin. I will send it along. This is a very large document that originated in a very old version of NW. (It is my doctorate, so over 20 years old That may be the issue. But I am keen on converting it to eBook so I appreciate someone looking at it.
Thank you and I will send it along.

Footnotes in ePub Export format
I am just getting to trying to export a document into ePub. First of all, just the simple export looks great! But...I have hundreds of footnotes and while they appear to be as links, clicking on them (in MacOS Books app) does nothing. They are all there as endnotes, but clicking does not take me to ...

Re: Two Language Fonts in Styles?
Thanks Philip. I have wondered about the Character Style and why it is needed rather than, say simply "bold" (which is all "Strong" is). I realize you can do far more complicated things with it and some may do so, perhaps this is my answer... I cannot see how to associate a keybo...

Two Language Fonts in Styles?
NWP 3.0 Warning: A lot my own ignorance of fonts and unicode here... I updated all my styles to a publisher's font required for printing (Brill). In Style Sheet view I just selected all and changed the font to "Brill." All is fine. THEN I noticed that all my Hebrew/Aramaic now displays as ...

I have checked that and we are trying to narrow it down with Nisus.

Re: NWP 3.0 and Erroneous Spellcheck
UPDATE: When I closed all open files, then quit NWP 3 and reopened it, the menu references to grammar disappeared.

Re: NWP 3.0 and Erroneous Spellcheck
Thanks Martin! I will follow up later today. Good to know about how grammar is being treated (or not). So why does it say "Show Spelling and Grammar" if it doesn't actually mark or flag grammar issues? That is misleading...

Re: NWP 3.0 and Erroneous Spellcheck
Thanks Martin! It has been sent. There are only a couple of items in this document, so I sent you a screen shot of one. Could this be a grammar check bug? (I do not think I have it turned on, but I do not see any controls other than "Show Spelling and Grammar.") The instances might be alig...

NWP 3.0 and Erroneous Spellcheck
Loving version 3 and so far have not had any show-stopping issues. There is one annoying bug: I see words like "of" and "your" being labelled as misspelled (red dotted underline) when they are correct. The words flagged seem random, there is no consistency This is in documents sa...

Re: Why is NWP so painfully slow?
It is now been years since this thread started and I am still seeing this at times. Not universally at all points in a document, but often. And it seems to even change with a single page! Some paragraphs are fine, others are not. This is a book under 200 pages but with hundreds of footnotes. Editing...

Re: Flashing Text
Martin - Thanks for replying. Latest of both: OSX 10.7, NWP 2.0.1 PB 1 (although I just launched and saw the new beta 2; loading now).
It is the entire line flashing with each keystroke. (I have seen the horizontal lines through the text but I was ignoring those for now

Re: Flashing Text
Just a quick update. That paragraph stopped flashing, as described in the previous post. As I got two sentences further into the paragraph and the text wrapped to a new line (having already done this without incident several times) it began to flash again. No idea why.
