Re: Italian hyphenation
Unfortunately, Italian language support from Apple is sub-par. So, if Nisus relies on Apple's dictionary, there is little hope to see this improved. In Nisus, I use a keyboard shortcut to add manual hyphens when needed. Paolo Paolo, I used a lot of wp apps, included Apple Pages. All the hyphenation...

difficult Esport as ... with MSWord
I tried to export two files NWP->MSWord both .docx and .doc. The result was terrible: the better one had line numbering activated and I was not able to disactivate it in MSWord. I have exported a lot of file from NWP to MSWord in the past. Is this a issue of some upgrade?

Offending commands with Bookends
Hi, I recently to scanned a Nisus Writer Pro document (50.000 characters with 90 bibliographic references), using the latest versions of both apps, Bookends and NWP. All seemed OK. The editor accept only files with .doc creator, but I was not able to export the file from NWP to MSWord. It seems that...

Re: Converting MMD syntax to RTF
Please, could someone explain how to implement these macros to convert MMD tags into RTF (also the opposite would be useful)?
Why Nisus does not implement these macros in a future Nisus release ?
Thank you
(I use the Italian localization of MacOS - Nisus)

Re: Great job, but spelling errors
Thank you, for your answers, I referred to errors in the Italian rules for dividing words in different lines. E. g. it is wrong to divide "ines-timabile", the correct spelling is "in-esti-ma-bi-le". Is it possible to override this with Spelling Catcher? (I am registered user). Th...

Great job, but spelling errors
Dear guys, great job with NWP 2.0 Thank you very much. Now the competition with Mellel is really won. Only the spelling in Italian language is very very lacking. Too much errors !!!
I really hope that will be possible to fix it in the next future.

Re: NWP 2 and docx
I was not able to convert a file docx with footnotes. Footnotes were completely lost. With the exportation from MSWord 2011 to RTF all was OK.

Re: Bookends NWP Scan a doc: error
The same message and the failure of the scan happens with the Italian MacOS. I think that would be very useful solve the problem for the rest of us that do not use English as a primary language.

I am sorry, but I do not know the internal identifier of my keyboard layout. I will wait for the upgrade, hoping in your fastness  I was a Nisus user since v. 4, then I switched to Mellel, but with NWP I was happy to return to my first, unforgettable, love. The really break between Mellel and ...

Problems with languages
Hi, I have some problems setting languages. I use Italian as default language, then other languages as English, French, German, all with the correspondent keyboard shortcut (ctrl-EN; ctrl-FR; ctrl-GE) dictionaries, thesauri (when available) and so on. No problem. Problems arose when I try to set lan...

Problems with languages and keyboards
Hi, I am trying the beautiful language tools of NWP. I need to write in ancient (i.e. Polytonic) Greek. Using NWE I set Polytonic Greek based on Greek, and switching in a keyboard layout standard, Greek Polytonic, delivered by Apple, if I remember correctly. Meanwhile, I acquired a better layout by ...
