Thanks Credneb and Martin.
I've now assigned 'fn + P' to get a 'Page Break'. It doesn't seem to conflict with anything. I should use Menu Keys more often.
Regards

Re: Page Break keyboard command
Hello John Thanks for your reply. It got me to mucking around on the MacBook and the Bluetooth keyboard (I run a monitor from the MacBook). "command + fn + return" gave me a bright yellow line across the page using both keyboards but no new page. However, once I added "shift" to ...

Page Break keyboard command
I prefer keyboard shortcuts. The one that drives me a bit bananas (and I've finally got around to posting on the forum) is Insert > Page Break. I could use it on my old full-sized keyboard but not on my notebook or my bluetooth keyboard. Both seem to have some keys removed to fit the keyboard into t...

Hello Kino
Thanks, that worked. I haven't even noticed those tiny lines before.
All the best

Font Family dialogue box in Tools "slider"
I've been using Nisus for many years and am using Nisus Pro on a "golf-ball" Mac running 10.5.8. However, I don't think this system causes the problem because this is the machine I've been using for a few years. This problem has only just recently occurred. The Font Family dialogue box has...

Re: Spelling - defining text to be checked for spelling
Hello Martin
Thanks for your reply. I've tried it and it works. I'm not sure how the cursor always bounced to the start of the document before. The "Select" command also works as it should.

Spelling - defining text to be checked for spelling
I put this on my wish list for Nisus Pro but it didn't appear so I'm raising it again. It applies most commonly to long documents, one of Nisus's strengths so I think it needs to be addressed. Let's say I'm on page 23 of a document and I want to check the spelling of that page and that page only. I ...

Snow Leopard update Oct 09
Received message this morning re Nisus Pro update to fix some bugs with Snow Leopard. My machine has reached the end of it's OSX updates i.e. it'll stay on 10.5. I'm assuming that I don't need to install this update, but more importantly if I do install it, I'm assuming that it won't change Nisus's ...

Page jumps back when printing
I'm using an iBook running OSX 10.4.8 with the latest Nisus. I have one file for correspondance for the various areas that I'm working on. So for example one file may be 57 pages long and I only want to print the last page because it's a one page letter to someone. As soon as I go to my print dialog...

Nisus to InDesign
Thanks to dshan and Peder for your suggestions. dshan: I tried your suggestion i.e. copy from Nisus into Word and then save the Word document as an RTF and then dump that into InDesign. None of the formatting went across (with Nisus at least the underlining did) so on that small sample, it seems tha...

Nisus to InDesign problems (small ones)
I have recently dumped the text for a book across to a colleage to 'lay up' in InDesign (CS2) on a G3 iMac. Underlining of words was fine but neither bold or italics went across to the extent I was being hassled to use Word or at least dump everything into Word before giving it to them. I used Word ...
