Re: Is NWP Intel-Mac requirement in error?

Now I am confused, because I have upgraded NW Pro on my old Mac mini as soon as the upgrade to 2.0.1 was available. Since I have already worked with the application on my PPC Mac, I think I must have downloaded my Nisus Writer Pro from some Nisus server located in the near future ... :P ... or you h...

Let's say on p 348 I simply type the last sentence of the day. The next morning, when I open the document next, will I go back to p 348? That's what I'm asking.
Yes, you will be back on page 348.

Re: Font Categories

The manual states: "Favorite Fonts: Displays the fonts you have added to your Favorites collection using the menu command Gear > Add to Favorites in the Fonts panel." (p. 445) and: "Nisus Writer Pro groups your fonts as they are organized in the Font Book application. You can choose to display: • Al...

Re: truncated page numbers

Looks like it’s something to do with page setup. I changed the page size to A4 and the bug disappeared. I had to reposition the right-aligned tab accordingly of course, but nothing else. On the other hand, the manual is US Letter, just like the Macro Reference file. Cheers, Henry. Yes, indeed. Chan...

Re: truncated page numbers

Odd that I don't see this phenomenon in the User's Guide (produced, of course, in Nisus Writer Pro 2.0). Did we not put the number far enough out to the edge to trigger the phenomenon? Here are a NWP document and a pdf affected by the problem (too large to post here): http://www2.odn.ne.jp/alt-quin...

Re: Nisus Pro 2

What a nice surprise: You can not only create text boxes, you can even link them, making the text overflowing from one box to another. I think that should be mentioned in the change log.

Re: My Document Manager stays empty

Is there a folder named ~/Documents/Nisus Documents, and is it empty, too? This is the folder which holds all files saved in the document manager.

Re: Good-bye AW6

With multiple note-streams Mellel has a real innovation in the field of footnotes, allowing for multiple sets of footnotes which are required in some fields of academic work (one footnote-stream for alternate versions of the original text, one stream for translation notes, one stream for secondary l...

Re: Feature Request: Footnotes in Full Screen?

Nisus Writer Classic had an "footnote view", where you could see all your footnotes at once. This is great for proof-reading and editing your footnotes. It is similar to the footnote view of Word in "normal" view, where you also get all your notes. Such a "footnote-editor" would be a great addition ...

1. You can colour the background of draft view and full screen view (preferences -> appearance -> customizable colours: document views), but not the colour of the page in page view. 2. In preferences -> appearance you can also choose what to show in comments, but you cannot disable all options, auth...

If you don't like it, then change it: choose "Edit Nisus New File" from the preferences, select Hidden Headers/Footers in Header/Footer palette and save "Nisus New File". Now Headers and Footers are invisible in every newly created document. But there seems to be a bug: if you select "Hidden Headers...

I cannot reproduce this behaviour. The cursors moves when I indent or outdent a new paragraph.

Did you chance something in your Nisus New File or in your preferences?
