Re: "Find" text-field populates search strings from other applications
Thanks. I see that the feature is called FindScrap. In documentation for the BBEdit editor there's discussion of how to toggle the boolean controlling it here.

"Find" text-field populates search strings from other applications
The "Find" text-field populates search strings whenever a new search-string is added in other applications. That is undesirable; I wish Nisus to keep its own text-field contents until I change them explicitly. I think this is standard Apple behavior, but it's unhelpful. I don't see a way t...

Re: Does Nisus now support columnar text (CJK)?
Floating text box, vertical mode, looks good.
I don't see it when I type "floating" or "vertical," but I found it in Tools => Insert Shape => Box.

Does Nisus now support text in vertical columns, with the columns wrapping right to left, as in CJK?
Using a table doesn't wrap automatically. As far as I know Nisus doesn't rotate characters 90° counterclockwise, so that ordinary text-wrapping would work.

Look-behind in macro
I have a two-level Number List. The level-1 items are numbered 1,2,3,4 and the level-2 sub-items are numbered a,b,c,d. There is a sample file attached. I want to automatically add a sub-item "b" after each sub-item "a'. I can do this manually with Powerfind Pro, finding (?<=a\.\t)(.+?...
